I study here http://highlightconseil.com/ littlest lolitas ls magazine By “changing market conditions” Skipton means the general, downward race of all savings rates brought on in the most part by the Government’s Funding for Lending scheme, whereby billions of pounds of cheap funding are made available to lenders. Skipton has taken £410m of this – obviating the need to raise this money from depositors, to whom it would have to pay a higher rate of interest. And when it talks of “improved performance” what Skipton really means is “pay less interest out and take more interest in”. Its trumpeted rise in profits has been at the expense of the majority of its members, the savers.
