The ideology that is used here is definitely an art as it requires virtual thinking and imagination that is based on the assumption on research and analysis.

After the target audience is decided, the marketers try various methods to reach out to them. They create campaigns that consist of content and design which are the general requirements of art. The artistic aspect of Digital Marketing makes your brand unique and extraordinary. It is the blend of stunning design, captivating content and perfect execution.

Digital Marketing as a Science

Although creativity plays a vital role in the marketing campaigns, however, it is also a fact that the result is driven by data. The only way to develop an accurate buyer persona is through the study of the audience. After some testing, the buyer personas are then framed again with more precise information. Hence, without the data, accuracy is not possible.

As a result of this, Digital Marketers takes the importance of Analytics into consideration and uses A/B Testing to determine what changes in the campaigns should be made to achieve better and profitable results. The data and analytics act as an ocean of information when it comes to figuring what is working and what is not and how to allocate the funds across the media channels to make the results more profit-oriented.
