Factores relacionados a la actitud negativa hacia la realización de la prueba de papanicolaou

RESUMEN

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue identificar los factores relacionados a la actitud negativa hacia la prueba de Papanicolaou en mujeres del Centro de Salud Melvin Jones 2018. El tipo de investigación fue estudio observacional de tipo explicativo, en una muestra de 84 mujeres de 50 a 64 años a quienes se le aplicó una encuesta validada por juicio de expertos, con una confiablidad según el alfa de Cronbrach entre 0.76 y 0.8. Los factores socioculturales no tuvieron relación con la actitud negativa, de igual manera el nivel de autoestima, pero sí se encontró relación estadísticamente significativa entre los factores económicos tales como la ocupación con un p-valor de 0.005 y el tipo de aseguramiento con 0.007, así como también parte de los factores reproductivos como la edad de inicio de sus relaciones sexuales con un p-valor de 0.024, número de parejas sexuales con 0.023 y número de partos con 0.037.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the present investigation was to identify the factors related to the negative attitude towards the Papanicolaou test in women of the Melvin Jones Health Center 2018. The type of research was an observational study of an explanatory type, in a sample of 84 women aged 50 to 64 years to whom a survey validated by expert judgment was applied, with a reliability according to Cronbrach's alpha between 0.76 and 0.8. The sociocultural factors were not related to the negative attitude, likewise the level of self-esteem, but there was a statistically significant relationship between economic factors such as the occupation with a p-value of 0.005 and the type of assurance with 0.007, as well as as well as part of the reproductive factors such as the age of beginning of their sexual relations with a p-value of 0.024, number of sexual partners with 0.023 and number of births with 0.037.
