RESUMEN

El Sistema de Referencia y Contrarreferencia es el conjunto de elementos que permite el traslado de un paciente desde su centro asistencial de adscripción a otro de mayor capacidad resolutiva, con la finalidad de resolver su problema de salud, haciendo posible su retorno al lugar de origen una vez resuelto el problema o establecido un manejo definido. Dicho Sistema está contemplado en la Reforma de Salud. En muchas partes del mundo existen aprendizajes de dicho sistema, dentro de los cuales se destaca que se debe mejorar la interrelación existente entre los diferentes actores del sistema, aumentar elnivel de compromiso de las personas que lo integran, mejorar los sistemas de información que permitan la mejor toma de decisiones, no alejar al paciente de su entorno socio familiar y evaluar el impacto de los resultados en los planos social, salud, familiar y no sólo económico. Actualmente se están realizando grandes esfuerzos que incluyen pilotos de respuesta inmediata, los mismos que han mejorado los resultados; no obstante, aún falta mucho por mejorar.

ABSTRACT

The Referral and Cross System is the set of elements that allows the transfer of apatient from the hospital in affiliation to one of greater response capacity, in order tosolve your health problem, making it possible to return to the place of origin at aftersolving the problem or set a defined operation. This system is covered by the HealthReform. In many parts of the world are learning this system, within which it isstressed that it should improve the interrelationship between the different actors ofthe system, increase the level of commitment of the people in it, improve informationsystems enable better decision making, not to alienate the patient from his familysocio environment and assess the impact of the results in and social levels, health,family not only economic. Currently they are making great efforts to include driversfor immediate response, they have improved the results and however we still haveroom for improvement.
