Journal History

Journal Arnaldoa was created by the renowned researcher Dr. Abundio Sagástegui Alva, founder and first director of the Natural History Museum. The name Arnaldoa is a homage to the outstanding Peruvian botanist Arnaldo López Miranda. It was first published in 1991 as a journal of the Antenor Orrego Herbarium (HAO). Shortly afterwards, when the Natural History Museum was formed, Arnaldoa became its official scientific publication. Since then, it seeks to increase its visibility in international libraries and databases.
