DIVERSIDAD FLORÍSTICA DE LA LOMA CERRO CAMPANA, PROVINCIA TRUJILLO, DEPARTAMENTO LA LIBERTAD-PERÚ

Resumen
Se presenta la Diversidad Florística de la Loma Cerro Campana, Prov. Trujillo, Dpto. La Libertad- Perú, a los grados: 07°58’S, 79°06’W entre los Km 589–597 Panamericana Norte; abarca una extensión aproximada de 800 ha y entre 80 a 990 m de elevación. El Catálogo de plantas con flores (Magnoliophyta) y Pteridophyta incluye: 51 familias, 113 géneros y 157 especies. Las familias con el mayor número de taxones destacan: Liliopsida: Poaceae (8 géneros y 13 especies), Bromeliaceae (3 géneros y 8 especies), Maganoliopsida: Asteraceae (14 géneros y 17 especies), Solanaceae (9 géneros y 20 especies), Malvaceae (5 géneros y 7 especies), Boraginaceae (5 géneros y 6 especies), Cactaceae (5 géneros y 6 especies) y las demás familias con dos y una especie. Este fragmento de loma presenta un conjunto único de especies, incluyendo algunos taxones endémicos y nuevos para la ciencia, que forma una comunidad particular diferente a las otras lomas a lo largo de la costa peruana desde Coquimbo en Chile hasta Cerro Campana en el Norte de Perú.

Abstract
This article presents the floristic diversity of the Cerro Campana’s lomas formations (Province of Trujillo, Department of La Libertad, Peru), at latitude 07°58’S and longitude 79°06’W, between the kilometers 560–580 of the North Pan-American Highway. It has an approximate extension of 1500 hectares and an altitude between 80 and 990 meters. The checklist of plants with flowers (Magnoliophyta) and Pteridophyta includes 51 families, 114 genera and 157 species. The families with the most quantity of taxa are: Liliopsida: Poaceae (8 genera and 13 species), Bromeliaceae (3 genera and 8 species), Maganoliopsida: Asteraceae (14 genera and 17 species), Solanaceae (9 genera and 20 species), Malvaceae (5 genera and 7 species), Boraginaceae (5 genera and 6 species), Cactaceae (5 genera and 6 species) and the rest of families with two or one species. This portion of lomasformations presents a unique group of species, including some endemic and new for the science taxa, which form a special community, different from other lomas formations along the Peruvian coast from Coquimbo in Chile to Cerro Campana in Northern Peru.
