NUEVO REGISTRO DE CEROXYLON PARVUM (ARECACEAE) EN EL PERÚ

Resumen
Se registra a Ceroxylon parvum Galeano (Arecaceae) en los bosques tropicales estacionalmente secos (BTES) para las localidades de La Oscurana, distrito de Bolívar, provincia de San Miguel; Udima en el distrito de Catache, y Succhapampa en el distrito de Pulán, provincia de Santa Cruz en Cajamarca, entre 06°43´ S 078°57´ W y 06°57´ S 079°08´ W. El tipo de la especie fue descrito en 1995 para Ecuador, Loja, carretera Chaguapamba-Loja, 12 km al oeste de Olinedo. Se proporciona una descripción amplia y se ilustra el taxón que pertenece al clado II, cuyas especies se encuentran mayormente diversificadas en los Andes Centrales.

Abstract
Ceroxylon parvum Galeano (Arecaceae) is reported in seasonally dry tropical forests (SDTF) at the localities of Oscurana, district of Bolivar, province of San Miguel; Udima in the district of Catache, and Succhapampa in the district of Pulán, province of Santa Cruz in Cajamarca, between 06°43´ S 078°57´ W and 06°57´ S 079°08´ W. The type species was described in 1995 for Ecuador, Loja, Chaguapamba-Loja road, 12 km west of Olinedo. We provide a broad description and an illustration of the taxon that belongs to clade II, whose species are mostly diversified in the Central Andes.
