EFICACIA DE TALLERES EDUCATIVOS SOBRE PATERNIDAD RESPONSABLE EN LA PREVENCIÓN DEL EMBARAZO DE ADOLESCENTES

El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue determinar la eficacia de talleres educativos sobre paternidad responsable en la prevención del embarazo en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa Privada Amigos de Jesús, La Esperanza - Trujillo 2015. El tipo de investigación fue cuasi experimental, con pre y pos test, en una muestra de 48 alumnos a quienes se les aplicó los talleres educativos sobre paternidad responsable, durante seis semanas, un taller por semana. Para medir los conocimientos y actitudes se aplicó un cuestionario, validado por juicio de expertos. El nivel de conocimientos antes de desarrollar los talleres educativos fue malo en 92.0%, regular, 6.0% y bueno, 2.0%; y el nivel de actitudes fue desfavorable en 46.0%, intermedio, 42.0% y favorable, 13.0%. Después de los talleres educativos; el nivel de conocimiento fue bueno en 71.0% y regular en 29.0 %, y el nivel de actitudes fue favorable en 92.0% e intermedio en 8.0%.Los talleres educativos sobre paternidad responsable son eficaces, por cuanto incrementan en más del 50% (P<0.001) el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes en la prevención del embarazo en adolescentes.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research was to determine the efficacy of educational workshops on responsible father hoodin the prevention of teen age pregnancy. Private Educational Institution Friends of Jesus, La Esperanza - Trujillo 2015. The type of research was quasi-experimental, with a pre- and post-test, in a sample of 48 students who were given educational workshops on responsible parenthood, duping six weeks, one workshop per week. To measure knowledge and attitudes, a questionnaire was applied, validated by expert judgment. The level of knowledge before developing the educational workshops was bad in 92.0%; regular 6.0% and good 2.0% and the level of attitudes was unfavorable in 46.0%; intermediate, 42.0% and favorable, 13.0%. At the end of the educational workshops, the level of knowledge was good at 71.0% and regular, 29.0% and the level of attitudes was favorable at 92.0% and intermediate, 8.0%. The efficacy of educational workshops on responsible parenthood significant (p <0.001) dueto the increase the level of knowledge and attitudes in the prevention of teenage pregnancy, by more than 50%
