Representación de crustáceos en cerámica prehispánica del norte del Perú

Resumen

Se presentan e ilustran crustáceos que forman parte de los recursos hidrobiológicos aprovechados por los pobladores norcosteños peruanos desde épocas prehispánicas. Asimismo, se indaga sobre su consumo ancestral en la población norcosteña peruana (región La Libertad). Para el análisis ceramográfico se tomó material del Museo de Historia Natural y Cultural de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego de Trujillo, Perú.

Abstract

We present and illustrate crustaceans that are part of the hydrobiological resources used by the inhabitants of the Peruvian North Coast since Pre-Columbian times. We also inquired about their ancestral consumption in the Peruvian North Coast population(La Libertad Region). For the ceramic analysis we worked with pieces from the Museum of Natural and Cultural History of the Antenor Orrego University in Trujillo, Peru.
